It is an act to provide for the constitution of a Fund for the financing of activities to promote welfare of labour in Gujarat for conducting such activities and for certain other purposes.
It is an aid in the form of money or necessities for those in need. It provides facilities to labourers in order to improve their working conditions, provide social security, and raise their standard of living.
Applicability
Any Employer/Establishment employing ten or more employees/persons.
